How do I purchase an art piece?
- Application: Apply for a piece following the submission process. Payment details will be captured, pending a successful application.
- Allocation: Third Brush will carefully review each application and aims to start notifying successful applicants around ten days after the application period closes. Allocations will be completed in phases over the following weeks. If your application is successful, then payment will be authorised using the payment details supplied in the application.
- Distribution: We aim to ship each order within one week of successful applications being confirmed.
Why do I have to apply?
Because there are limited artworks available, Third Brush tries to ensure that everyone has a chance to purchase one, which means there is an application period.
Due to the high demand, Third Brush tries to ensure that the artworks are sold broadly and fairly (rather than on a ‘first come, first served’ basis). This means there is a short allocation period, where Third Brush uses a mixture of random selection along with other criteria designed to achieve a broad and fair allocation of the work.
What is the Series Size?
Will I be charged Import duties for the piece and at what rate?
If your shipping address is outside of the UK, you will be responsible for any customs or import duties and local taxes that may be payable.
Where such duties or taxes are payable in respect of any works ordered, we do not collect and pay them on your behalf. You are responsible for paying any amounts due directly to the applicable customs authority. We are not able to offer any guidance on customs or import duties or local taxes and recommend that you contact your local customs office for details.
